That is why the Interledger Foundation funds technical work as part of its core grantmaking offer, because a growing ecosystem of developers, builders, and financial service providers is how open payment infrastructure gets adopted at scale. To date, we have funded over 150 projects across more than 35 countries, from open-source tooling and early-stage prototypes to live financial integrations serving real users.
